Privacy
Black American Homeschools is free to browse and doesn't require an account. This page explains what happens to information you choose to send us, and where the program details on the site come from.
What we collect
Browsing the directory doesn't require you to hand over anything. If you use the list a program, claim a listing, or featured placement forms, we collect what you type into them — typically a name, email address, phone number, and details about the program. We don't use tracking cookies or advertising pixels.
How we use it
Form submissions are emailed directly to the small team that runs this site so we can review, add, correct, or update a listing, or follow up about a featured placement. We use your contact details only to reach you about what you submitted. We don't sell, rent, or share your information with third parties, and we don't add you to a mailing list unless you separately ask to hear from us.
Where listing information comes from
Program details are compiled from public sources — official program and district websites, state and county funding lists, and charter vendor directories — with the date each detail was verified shown on its page. Where we could not confirm something, including whether a program is Black-led, the listing says so rather than guessing.
Corrections and removal
If you run a program listed here and something is wrong, outdated, or you'd like it removed, find it on the search page and use the “Claim this listing” link on its page so we can verify you're the owner and make the change.
Changes to this policy
If how we handle information changes, we'll update this page. This isn't a substitute for legal advice about your own use of the site.
